collaboration with TONE
Exploring community revitalization through art in Orange Mound, Memphis. Collaboration with local artist collective TONE - who currently uses the site of an old grain mill as a gathering space for their Juneteenth and Halloween celebrations.

Conserving it’s familiar identity as a place to celebrate the culture was the main focus for my portion of the project (highlighted)
.

Tracks added to the existing structure of the mill allows for the space to be transformed into galleries and a performance hall at the curator’s discretion. Skylights and perforated shells let light in during the day, becoming a beacon of light at night.
